10 Ways to boost your Metabolism, and burn fat while doing nothing

Many of us would like to get the magic pill and lose weight while watching television. Maybe there is a genius out there working on this solution right now, but while it is not available (yet!) we will need to rely on the options we have available right now. I have to say I am no fan of diet plans or fancy pills, juices, smoothies or whatever they advertise as the one solution for this weight dilemma.

I also need to tell you that I am no expert when it comes to weight loss, but I do a lot of research and have come up with different weight lose options that are natural. I need to reiterate that losing weight is a combination of diet and exercise.  In this article we are going to concentrate on the holy grail of weight watchers everywhere. The word is metabolism. Some people inherit a speedy metabolism, and will eat like a pig and do little exercise and still keep the same wait year after year.  Well this is not completely accurate.  According to Michael Jensen, M.D., an endocrinologist with the Mayo Clinic said “There are slim people with slightly low metabolisms who just don’t eat very much, and there are heavy people with really high metabolisms who eat a huge amount.”

So even when you have a speedy metabolism you still need to control your eating habits. Eventually not everything you can control, as there are also various uncontrollable factors like your age, gender, or genetics which will impact your metabolism.

As an anecdote, Suzanne Somers once said “Around age 40 I put on twenty pounds. I had always had a perfect metabolism. But, my metabolism betrayed me as it does most people, except a very rare few who will always be thin.”
