Raspberry deep red color makes this smoothie very attractive to the eye. Mixing it with the orange and oatmeal turns the color to a deep pink. A perfect smoothie for You Posh Girl. 🙂

Oatmeal gives this smoothie body and thickness, and the oranges bring sweetness and acidity. This smoothie is good to have for breakfast as it is very filing, and what a healthy filing it is.

 

About the benefits of the ingredients;

Like all the smoothies we prepared for you before, it is full of stuff your body needs to keep it healthy. Red Raspberries contain strong antioxidants such as Vitamin C, quercetin and gallic acid that fight against cancer, heart and circulatory disease and age-related decline. They are high in ellagic acid, a known chemopreventative, and have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. Oranges have so many benefits and I consider them a Powerfood. They have a wealth of nutrients including vitamin C, vitamin A precursors, calcium, potassium, and pectin. No wonder when you were kid you parents kept pushing you to have your orange or orange juice in the morning.

Raspberry Orange Oats Smoothie Ingredients

This recipe serves about 2 people.

 

Instructions: Mix all the ingredients in a blender and squeeze the orange juices on top of you ingredients. Leave the grapes and hemp seeds aside, as you are going to use them to garnish you smoothie when it is done. Blend all the ingredients together, until you reach a smoothie consistency. Cut the grapes in two pieces. Pour the smoothie in your favorite glass and add the grapes and hemp seed to garnish.
