About the benefits of the ingredients
Spirulina is an algae that grows in the salty waters of subtropical climates and has significant amounts of calcium, iron and magnesium per serving. It’s also been shown to help lower cholesterol. Hemp seeds contain over 30% fat. They are exceptionally rich in two essential fatty acids, linoleic acid (omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3). In fact, by weight, hemp seeds provide amounts of protein similar to beef and lamb. They are considered a complete protein source, which means that they provide all the essential amino acids. Essential amino acids are not produced in the body and need to be gotten from the diet.
Mix those two superfoods with kale (or spinach) and the cancer-fighting polyphenols from grapes, and you’ve got a drink that can make you a super. Drinking one of these before heading into the mall for a shopping trip, is like putting a force field around your immune system.
